A few smartphones are set to launch in the 1st week of January in India, including the Redmi Note 15 and Realme 16 Pro series on January 6, with the Motorola Signature series on January 7.
Redmi Note 15
The Redmi Note 15 and the Redmi Pad 2 Pro are set to launch in India on January 6, 2026. The company has already confirmed several key specs about the Redmi Note 15 smartphone. This phone features a 6.77-inch 120Hz AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 3,200 nits. The phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor and a 5,520mAh battery with 45W wired fast charging support.
Realme 16 Pro Series
Realme 16 Pro and Realme 16 Pro+ confirmed to launch in India on 6 January, 2026. These two, the Realme 16 Pro and Pro Plus, will be focused on photography. Both phones will pack a 200-megapixel main sensor and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens with metal finish camera modules.

The Realme 16 Pro Plus will be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, with the more affordable 16 Pro variant powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7000 series chipset. Both phones come with massive 7,000mAh batteries with support for 80W fast charging.
Motorola Signature
The Motorola Signature series launched in India on 7 January 2026. This brand hasn’t shared many details about the phone, but many other leaks and the Geekbench listing suggest that the Signature series could be a rebranded version of the Motorola Edge 70 Ultra. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, which chipset seen on the OnePlus 15R. This phone comes with up to 16GB of RAM with Android 16 version.
Poco M8 5G
The Poco M8 5G launched in India on 8 January 2026. While the full details are not yet clear, the phone is expected to be a budget-friendly option. The Poco M8 5G feature a slim 7.35mm design and a 50-megapixel rear camera, while the M8 Pro 5G could offer up to 12GB RAM and 512GB of storage. A large 6,330mAh battery with 100W fast charging is also expected in this segment. Poco phones are usually known for offering good performance at a lower price range.
